Tim says that Illinois has passed a new pretrial release act called the SAFE-T Act and it has transformed the way Illinois sets bond. He says that before this Act, when someone was arrested a judge would set a bond which would secure their presence at trial. With the SAFE-T Act, it has completely removed cash bail and Tim shares Illinois is one of the few states to have this law.

Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, there is a section about fair use. That means that in certain cases, you can use someone else’s product to promote your own such as news casts or parodies. The fan’s argument is that they are using Bad Bunny’s concert videos to promote their YouTube channel which is allowed under fair use.
